In the Spring of 2021, my husband and I purchased a switchboard that was used in Tallinn, Estonia in the pre-WWII era. The provenance of this switchboard is the now-closed KGB Spy Museum in NY, NY. I am working on documenting additional history behind this artifact, early telecommunication, and the exploitation of telecom devices by spy agencies. I am also reaching out to restoration experts in an attempt to restore this piece and maybe even return some of its functionality.
